Karaoke, Arnedåb, Cph Cunt and Læsninger

We had some great events with two concerts and one poetry reading this previous month.

Right now, we're working hard to plan our 10 year birthday festival featuring some of the best artists from all of the years. But during May, we also have a Karaoke Night, Arnedåb concert, Kvindelig's Copenhagen Cunt Convention and a special edition of AMOK Læsninger.

If you're planning to go to our birthday, you can buy an early bird ticket to the 2-day festival for just 80 kr. You can either send 80 kr to our MobilePay box "1736KC" (AMOK fødselsdag entre), or come to one of our events and ask in the bar. After June 1st, the regular ticket price is 100 kr. for both days. Persons under 15 years are free.

Music for nicotine-starved robots / Rhythmic noise. A bit like a rave where humans have long since disappeared, by machines to create their artificial paradise. These robots have been dancing restlessly ever since, in an industrial, harsh and endless party.

Klapjagt

Klapjagt is an experimental project by Copenhagen based artist Korana Jelača. Klapjagt is centered around the physicality of sound. Consisting solely of field-recordings, the project is an exploration of the random and volatile nature of (primarily urban) landscapes and our perception of them.

I denne sjette udgave af AMOK Læsninger udfordrer Kasperaliteten deltagerne til at imitere alle forfattere, (kan være i form, emne eller fremførsel), imens Esben sideløbende fejrer sin fødselsdag.

Man er velkommen til at tage imod udfordringen og fejre efter forgodtbefindende.

Vi sætter læsningen og den eksperimenterende optræden i centrum - som altid uden mikrofoner, spotlys og scene.

AMOK will celebrate our 10 years birthday with a festival on 6th and 7th of June.

This weekend will be a bucket of fun, performances, noise, music, poetry, art auction and cake. We have lots of golden oldies from the years past, and also some new never-before-seen-acts.

We just opened for the sale of tickets:
Early bird tickets bought before June 1st for just 80 kr. (for both days)
Regular ticket at the door is 100 kr. (for both days)
Persons under 15 years is free.
